The origami seahorses were sealed with several coats of sealer and non-yellowing satin varnish to add durability and protect them from moisture. But they are not waterproof, so do not submerge the earrings in water, or wear them to go swimming or taking showers.
- Each earring was made with an origami folded paper seahorse in a sage green with shades of pink from dark cranberry to mauve & cream colored Chiyogami Japanese paper
- Antique brass colored fishhook ear-wire
- The length of the earring from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the of the seahorse is 2.25″. The width of the seahorse is about 0.5″.
